Article R6152-82 of the French Public Health Code

In the event of dismissal for professional incompetence, the person concerned will receive compensation equal to half the last monthly remuneration received prior to dismissal for each of the first twelve years of service, and one third of the same remuneration for each of the following years, up to a maximum of twelve times the monthly remuneration. Any period of service in excess of six months is counted as one year and any period of service of less than six months is not taken into account.

En cas de licenciement pour insuffisance professionnelle, l’intéressé perçoit une indemnité dont le montant est fixé à la moitié de la dernière rémunération mensuelle perçue avant le licenciement pour chacune des douze premières années de service, au tiers de cette même rémunération pour chacune des années suivantes, sans que son montant puisse excéder douze fois la rémunération mensuelle. Toute durée de service supérieure à six mois est comptée pour un an et toute durée de service inférieure à six mois n’est pas prise en compte.
