Hospital practitioners may submit their resignation to the director general of the Centre national de gestion, giving three months’ notice.
Within thirty days of receiving the practitioner’s request, the director general of the Centre national de gestion shall notify the practitioner of his decision. He may ask the resigning practitioner to carry out his duties for the period necessary for his replacement, which may not exceed six months from the date of receipt by the National Centre for Management of the practitioner’s request. If the Director General of the National Management Centre has not taken a decision within thirty days of receipt of the letter of resignation, the resignation is deemed to have been accepted.
If the resigning practitioner plans to work as an employee or in a self-employed capacity, the provisions of article 87 of law no. 93-122 of 29 January 1993 relating to the prevention of corruption and the transparency of economic life and public procedures and the regulations adopted for its application shall apply to him/her.
