Junior doctors are entitled to annual leave of twenty-five working days. During this leave, he/she will receive the remuneration mentioned in 1° of article R. 6153-1-7 as well as the supervised autonomy allowance and, where applicable, allowances for accommodation, heating, lighting and food.
The amount of leave mentioned above that may be taken at one time may not exceed thirty-one consecutive days.
The reference year for the calculation of junior doctors’ leave starts on the first Monday in November.
At the end of the reference year and provided that the number of days of annual leave taken during this reference year is not less than twenty, the junior doctor is entitled to a compensatory allowance for each day of annual leave not taken, up to a limit of five working days, the terms of payment of which are set by order of the ministers responsible for health and the budget.
