For the application of articles R. 6153-14 to R. 6153-18, the matter is referred to the medical committee either by the director general of the regional health agency of the subdivision to which the resident is assigned, or by the director of the health establishment to which the resident is assigned, or by the director general of the university hospital centre; in the latter two cases, the matter is referred after obtaining the opinion of the chairman of the establishment’s medical committee.
The resident whose case is submitted to a medical committee is notified at least fifteen days in advance of the date of the medical committee meeting. If so requested, the resident shall provide the medical committee with the medical documents in his possession.
The intern must appear before the Medical Committee. He may ask to be heard by one or more doctors of his choice, who shall have access to the file compiled by the Medical Committee.
