When, during a six-month period, an intern interrupts his duties for more than two months under articles R. 6153-13 to R. 6153-18, R. 6153-26 or R. 6153-40 or is absent for more than two months under conditions that make him liable to the disciplinary sanctions provided for in the second paragraph of article R. 6153-6, the training period is not validated.
A six-month traineeship which, either in application of these provisions or by decision of the competent university authorities, has not been validated, is counted as part of the maximum duration for completing third cycle training. This entails the completion of an additional semester’s training.
When, during a one-year training period, a student interrupts his duties for more than four months, but not more than eight months, under articles R. 6153-13 to R. 6153-18, R. 6153-26 or R. 6153-40 or is absent for more than four months, but not more than eight months, under conditions which make him liable to the disciplinary sanctions provided for in the second paragraph of article R. 6153-6, the training period is not validated. The student completes an additional six-month placement.
When, during a one-year placement, a student interrupts his duties for more than eight months, under articles R. 6153-13 to R. 6153-18, R. 6153-26 or R. 6153-40, or is absent for more than eight months, under conditions which subject him to the disciplinary sanctions provided for in the second paragraph of article R. 6153-6, the placement is not validated. The student completes an additional annual training period.
