Article R6153-27 of the French Public Health Code

Residents who complete a training period as part of their training abroad, where applicable as part of a humanitarian mission, are placed in a special position during which they cease to benefit from the allowances and reimbursements provided for in 2°, 3°, 4°, 5° and 7° of article D. 6153-10-1 and the provisions of articles R. 6153-11 to R. 6153-18 and R. 6153-25.

The training periods completed in this position are taken into account, if they are validated, when calculating the length of time interns have worked.

Les internes qui accomplissent un stage relevant de leur formation à l’étranger, le cas échéant dans le cadre d’une mission humanitaire, sont placés dans une position spéciale pendant laquelle ils cessent de bénéficier des indemnités et remboursement prévus aux 2°, 3°, 4°, 5° et 7° de l’article D. 6153-10-1 et des dispositions prévues aux articles R. 6153-11 à R. 6153-18 et R. 6153-25.

Les stages accomplis dans cette position sont pris en compte, s’ils sont validés, pour le calcul de la durée des fonctions accomplies par les internes.
