Article R6153-59 of the French Public Health Code

The university hospital centres to which they are attached, which are responsible for the remuneration of all the medical students mentioned in article R. 6153-46, pay them a salary throughout their training, with the exception of the period of study abroad and the internship carried out as an intern, as provided for in the fourth and eighth paragraphs of article R. 6153-47 respectively.

Les centres hospitaliers universitaires de rattachement, qui ont en charge la rémunération de l’ensemble des étudiants hospitaliers en médecine mentionnés à l’article R. 6153-46, leur versent un salaire tout au long de leur formation à l’exception de la période d’études à l’étranger et du stage réalisé en qualité de faisant fonction d’interne prévus respectivement aux quatrième et huitième alinéas de l’article R. 6153-47.
