Article R6153-68 of the French Public Health Code

The hospital odontology students referred to in article R. 6153-63 participate in hospital activities under the responsibility of the referring practitioner designated by the person in charge of teaching at the place of training or, where applicable, under the responsibility of the practitioner in charge of the host structure in accordance with the procedures laid down by order of the ministers responsible for higher education, health and, where applicable, defence.

They may also be assigned to other establishments within the framework of agreements concluded in application of article L. 6142-5 or to an establishment of the armed forces health service.

They carry out the odontological tasks and procedures entrusted to them by the referring practitioner or the practitioner in charge of the host establishment.

Les étudiants hospitaliers en odontologie mentionnés à l’article R. 6153-63 participent à l’activité hospitalière sous la responsabilité du praticien référent désigné par le responsable pédagogique du lieu de stage ou, le cas échéant, sous la responsabilité du praticien responsable de la structure d’accueil selon des modalités prévues par arrêté des ministres chargés de l’enseignement supérieur, de la santé et, le cas échéant, de la défense.

Ils peuvent également être affectés dans d’autres établissements dans le cadre des conventions conclues en application de l’article L. 6142-5 ou dans un établissement du service de santé des armées.

Ils exécutent les tâches et les actes odontologiques qui leur sont confiés par le praticien référent ou le praticien responsable de la structure d’accueil.
