Article R621-13 of the French Code governing the entry and residence of foreign nationals and the right of asylum

When long-term resident – EU status is maintained, the administrative authority informs the State mentioned in article R. 621-10, which consulted it, of its decision. The foreign national and, where applicable, the members of his family are readmitted to French territory without formalities at the request of the State that issued the removal decision.

Lorsque le statut de résident de longue durée – UE est maintenu, l’autorité administrative informe de sa décision l’Etat mentionné à l’article R. 621-10 qui l’a consultée. L’étranger et, le cas échéant, les membres de sa famille sont réadmis sans formalités sur le territoire français à la demande de l’Etat auteur de la décision d’éloignement.
