Article R621-41 of the French Monetary and Financial Code

When one of the legal entities referred to in II of Article L. 621-9 is temporarily or permanently banned from trading or temporarily suspended from trading, the Chairman of the Autorité des marchés financiers, after seeking the opinion of the legal entity penalised, shall appoint another such person, with the agreement of the latter, to carry out the activity in question. The mission of the person so appointed expires either at the end of the period of prohibition or suspension, or when there are no longer any open positions on behalf of one of the clients.

Article R621-41

Lorsqu’une sanction d’interdiction temporaire ou définitive d’activité ou une mesure de suspension temporaire d’activité est prononcée à l’encontre de l’une des personnes morales mentionnées au II de l’article L. 621-9, le président de l’Autorité des marchés financiers, après avoir sollicité l’avis de la personne morale sanctionnée, désigne une autre de ces personnes avec l’accord de cette dernière, pour exercer l’activité en cause. La mission de la personne ainsi désignée expire soit à la fin de la période d’interdiction ou de suspension, soit lorsqu’il n’existe plus aucune position ouverte pour le compte d’un des clients.
