Article R6222-50 of the French Labour Code

I.-When the apprentice with a disability is able to follow the teaching at the apprentice training centre, subject to specific adjustments to the teaching methods applied at this centre, these adjustments are implemented by the advisor responsible for the integration of people with disabilities designated by the centre in application of 1° of article L. 6231-2 , after receiving the opinion of the apprentice’s attending physician or the physician from the departmental disabled people’s centre.

II – When the apprentice is unable, due to his disability, to attend the apprentice training centre corresponding to the training provided for in the contract, he may be authorised :

1° Either to follow this training at a distance ;

2° Or to follow a distance learning course or practical and theoretical instruction equivalent to that provided in the centre.

These adjustments are made by the advisor mentioned in I, after consulting the apprentice’s doctor or the doctor at the departmental disabled people’s centre.

III – The training adjustments mentioned in II are included in the training agreement mentioned in article L. 6353-1.

I.-Lorsque l’apprenti en situation de handicap est en mesure de suivre l’enseignement du centre de formation d’apprentis, moyennant un aménagement spécifique de la pédagogie appliquée dans ce centre, cet aménagement est mis en œuvre par le référent chargé de l’intégration des personnes en situation de handicap désigné par le centre en application du 1° de l’article L. 6231-2 après avis de son médecin traitant ou du médecin de la maison départementale des personnes handicapées.

II.-Lorsque l’apprenti n’est pas en mesure, en raison de son handicap, de fréquenter le centre de formation d’apprentis correspondant à la formation prévue au contrat, il peut être autorisé :

1° Soit à suivre cette formation à distance ;

2° Soit à suivre à distance une formation ou un enseignement pratique et théorique équivalents à celui dispensé en centre.

Ces aménagements sont mis en œuvre par le référent mentionné au I après avis du médecin traitant de l’apprenti ou du médecin de la maison départementale des personnes handicapées.

III.-Les aménagements de la formation mentionnés au II sont inscrits dans la convention de formation mentionnée à l’article L. 6353-1.
