The competent council of the ordre des médecins or the ordre des pharmaciens decides on the application for registration under the conditions set out in articles L. 4112-3 and L. 4112-4 and articles L. 4222-3, L. 4222-4 and L. 4232-12 respectively.
Reasons shall be given for any decision to refuse registration. It shall be notified to each member by any means that provides proof of the date of receipt. It may only be taken after the members have been invited to present their observations to the competent council of the order(s), within a period of fifteen days.
Each member shall be notified of the entry on the roll of the competent council or councils by any means capable of proving the date of receipt.
The competent council of the professional body shall notify the decision or notice of registration to the director general of the competent regional health agency and to the national council of the professional body.
Where the company is registered with both the Order of Pharmacists and the Order of Physicians, a copy of the decision or notice of registration from each of the two Orders is sent to the other.
