An appeal by the public prosecutor and the public prosecutor shall be made by a statement of appeal delivered or addressed to the registry of the court of appeal.
When this declaration is made by post, the date of the act of appeal is that of the dispatch.
Where the appeal by the public prosecutor or the public prosecutor is lodged against a judgment mentioned in articles L. 661-6, L. 661-9 or made pursuant to Chapters I and III of Title V of Book VI of the Legislative Part of this Code, the appellant shall immediately inform, by any means, the clerk of the court and the representatives of the court. The clerk of the court of appeal shall notify the debtor and the persons mentioned in 4° of article R. 661-6.
