In support of their first application to the Professional Journalists’ Identity Card Commission, as provided for in Section 2, applicants must provide:
1° Proof of identity and nationality;
2° A curriculum vitae certified on their honour;
3° Bulletin No. 3 of their criminal record dated less than three months;
4° A statement certified on their honour that journalism is their main, regular and paid occupation and that they earn remuneration at least equal to the minimum wage resulting from the application of the provisions of this Code. This statement shall be accompanied by an indication of the daily or periodical publications, press agencies or audiovisual communication companies in which the applicant exercises his profession;
5° An indication of other regular paid occupations;
6° An undertaking to inform the Commission of any change in his situation that would result in a change in the declarations on the basis of which the card was issued. This undertaking includes the obligation to return the card to the Commission if the holder ceases to be a professional journalist.
