Article R7111-6 of the French Labour Code

The professional journalist’s identity card bears the holder’s photograph, signature, surname, forenames, nationality and place of residence, and details of the publications, press agencies or audiovisual communication companies in which he or she works.
The card is stamped by the Professional Journalist Identity Card Committee and signed by two of its members, one representing employers and the other employees.

La carte d’identité de journaliste professionnel comporte la photographie du titulaire, sa signature, l’indication de ses nom, prénoms, nationalité et domicile, la mention des publications, agences de presse ou entreprise de communication audiovisuelle dans lesquelles il exerce sa profession.
Le cachet de la commission de la carte d’identité des journalistes professionnels et la signature de deux de ses membres, pris respectivement parmi les représentants des employeurs et des salariés, sont apposés sur la carte.
