Article R712-26 of the French Intellectual Property Code

The conditions for submitting the application and the contents of the file shall be specified by decision of the Director General of the National Institute of Industrial Property, in particular as regards:

1° The application for registration provided for in Article R. 712-3;

2° The opposition provided for in Article R. 712-14 ;

3° The declaration of withdrawal provided for in Article R. 712-21 or renunciation provided for in Article R. 714-1;

4° The renewal declaration provided for in Article R. 712-24;

5° The application for entry in the National Trade Mark Register provided for in articles R. 714-4, R. 714-4-1 and R. 714-6;

6° Applications for international trademark registration and subsequent entry in the International Register subject to the Institute’s visa.

Les conditions de présentation de la demande et le contenu du dossier sont précisés par décision du directeur général de l’Institut national de la propriété industrielle, notamment en ce qui concerne :

1° La demande d’enregistrement prévue à l’article R. 712-3 ;

2° L’opposition prévue à l’article R. 712-14 ;

3° La déclaration de retrait prévue à l’article R. 712-21 ou de renonciation prévue à l’article R. 714-1 ;

4° La déclaration de renouvellement prévue à l’article R. 712-24 ;

5° La demande d’inscription au Registre national des marques prévue aux articles R. 714-4, R. 714-4-1 et R. 714-6 ;

6° Les demandes d’enregistrement international de marque et d’inscription postérieure au registre international soumises au visa de l’institut.
