Article R717-5 of the French Intellectual Property Code

The time limit for filing an opposition, in accordance with Article L. 712-4, runs from the publication of the Gazette by the World Intellectual Property Organisation.

The opposition is notified to the holder of the international registration via the International Bureau of the World Intellectual Property Organisation.

The holder of the international registration is deemed to have received notification of the opposition within fifteen days of the date of issue of such notification by the National Institute of Industrial Property.

Le délai pour former opposition, conformément à l’article L. 712-4, court à compter de la publication du bulletin La Gazette par l’Organisation mondiale de la propriété intellectuelle.

L’opposition est notifiée au titulaire de l’enregistrement international par l’intermédiaire du bureau international de l’Organisation mondiale de la propriété intellectuelle.

Le titulaire de l’enregistrement international est réputé avoir reçu la notification de l’opposition dans un délai de quinze jours à compter de la date d’émission de cette notification par l’Institut national de la propriété industrielle.
