All correspondence or documents relating to proceedings before the National Institute of Industrial Property provided for in this Title shall be filed at the registered office of the Institute or sent there by post or by any means of teletransmission under the conditions defined by decision of its Director General. Their filing date shall be that of receipt at the registered office of the Institute.
The Director General of the National Institute of Industrial Property may require filing in electronic form where this method is likely to facilitate the examination and publication of such documents.
The Institute shall provide assistance to applicants by any appropriate means, specified by decision of its Director General.
Any correspondence or document relating to a procedure provided for in this Title filed with the Institute under the conditions referred to in the first paragraph by an agent other than that mentioned in the National Register of Trademarks, shall be in order. In the absence of express specification, such agent shall be substituted for the agent mentioned in the Register for subsequent notifications in connection with the proceedings instituted.
