Article R72 of the French Code of Criminal Procedure

For persons born in the overseas territories the records provided for in articles R. 65 and R. 67, paragraph 2, and the notices provided for in articles R. 67, paragraph 1, R. 69 and R. 71, are forwarded to the public prosecutor or the public prosecutor at the appeal court in the territory in which the place of birth is located, who forwards it to the competent registry.

Article R72

Pour les personnes nées dans les territoires d’outre-mer les fiches prévues aux articles R. 65 et R. 67, alinéa 2, et les avis prévues aux articles R. 67, alinéa 1er, R. 69 et R. 71, sont transmis au procureur général ou au procureur de la République près la juridiction d’appel du territoire dans lequel est situé le lieu de naissance, qui le fait parvenir au greffe compétent.
