Article R724-17 of the French Commercial code

The hearing of the National Disciplinary Committee is public. However, if the protection of public order or privacy so requires or if there are special circumstances likely to prejudice the interests of justice, access to the hearing room may be prohibited for all or part of the hearing, if necessary ex officio, by the Chairman.

The Commission deliberates in camera. The decision, which shall state the reasons on which it is based, shall be made public.

L’audience de la Commission nationale de discipline est publique. Toutefois, si la protection de l’ordre public ou de la vie privée l’exige ou s’il existe des circonstances spéciales de nature à porter atteinte aux intérêts de la justice, l’accès à la salle d’audience peut être interdit pendant la totalité ou une partie de l’audience, au besoin d’office, par le président.

La commission délibère à huis clos. La décision, qui est motivée, est rendue publiquement.
