Article R7343-29 of the French Labour Code

The decision of the court of first instance may be appealed within ten days of its notification. The appeal is lodged, investigated and judged in accordance with the conditions laid down in the Code of Civil Procedure for professional elections.

The parties are exempted from the requirement to appear before the Conseil d’Etat and the Cour de Cassation.

La décision du tribunal judiciaire peut faire l’objet d’un pourvoi en cassation dans un délai de dix jours suivant sa notification. Le pourvoi est formé, instruit et jugé dans les conditions prévues par le code de procédure civile en matière d’élections professionnelles.

Les parties sont dispensées du ministère d’avocat au Conseil d’Etat et à la Cour de cassation.
