Article R7343-51 of the French Labour Code

To vote electronically, the voter, having logged on to the voting system and identified himself in accordance with the procedures set out in article R. 7343-44, casts and validates his vote. The vote is anonymous.

The ballot paper is encrypted on the voter’s computer before being sent via a channel that is itself encrypted to the voting servers, where it is stored anonymously. It remains encrypted until the vote is counted.

The link between the voting terminal and the server hosting the “electronic ballot box” file is also encrypted. The transmission of the vote and the voter’s signature have a certain date of receipt. An electronic acknowledgement of receipt is immediately made available to the voter, indicating the voter’s identifier and the date and time of the vote.

The validation of the vote makes it final and prevents any modification.

Pour voter par voie électronique, l’électeur, après s’être connecté au système de vote et identifié selon les modalités prévues à l’article R. 7343-44, exprime puis valide son vote. Le vote est anonyme.

Le bulletin de vote est chiffré sur le poste de l’électeur avant d’être envoyé par un canal lui-même chiffré vers les serveurs de vote, afin d’y être stocké de façon anonyme. Il demeure chiffré jusqu’au dépouillement.

La liaison entre le terminal de vote et le serveur hébergeant le fichier “ urne électronique ” fait également l’objet d’un chiffrement. La transmission du vote et l’émargement de l’électeur ont une date certaine de réception. Il est immédiatement mis à la disposition de l’électeur un accusé de réception électronique mentionnant son identifiant ainsi que la date et l’heure du vote.

La validation du vote le rend définitif et empêche toute modification.
