Article R7343-52 of the French Labour Code

At the end of the electronic voting, the president and the assessors of the polling station, after having declared the ballot closed, proceed to the sealing of the electronic ballot box and the voters’ list.

Once the ballot has been sealed, the chairman and assessors of the polling station check the integrity of the electronic voting system.

In particular, they check that the number of votes cast in the electronic ballot box corresponds to the number of voters on the voters’ list and that the votes recorded were cast during the voting period.

Verification operations are included in the log of electronic voting operations. This log is automatically edited and sent to the technical committee mentioned in article R. 7343-41 and to the delegates mentioned in article R. 7343-43. It is appended to the electronic voting report mentioned in article R. 7343-42.

A la clôture du vote électronique, le président et les assesseurs du bureau de vote, après avoir déclaré le scrutin clos, procèdent au scellement de l’urne électronique et de la liste d’émargement.

Une fois le scellement opéré, le président et les assesseurs du bureau de vote vérifient l’intégrité du système de vote électronique.

Ils vérifient en particulier que le nombre de votes exprimés dans l’urne électronique correspond au nombre de votants figurant sur la liste d’émargement et que les votes enregistrés ont été exprimés pendant la période de vote.

Les opérations de vérification sont incluses dans le journal qui recense les opérations de vote électronique. Ce journal est automatiquement édité et communiqué au comité technique mentionné à l’article R. 7343-41 et aux délégués mentionnés à l’article R. 7343-43. Il est annexé au procès-verbal du vote électronique mentionné à l’article R. 7343-42.
