The National Council of Commercial Court Registrars is made up of members elected by the commercial court registrars.
In each court of appeal, the commercial court registrars elect a member of the National Council when the number of registrars practising within the jurisdiction of that court exceeds five. Otherwise, the member of the National Council is elected by a panel made up of the clerks of the court of appeal and those practising in a neighbouring court of appeal, designated by order of the Minister of Justice, after consulting the National Council.
A member of the National Council is elected by a panel made up of the clerks of the mixed commercial courts appearing on the list provided for in Article L. 732-3.
Half of the members of the National Council are elected every two years for four years and may be re-elected twice; they may only be re-elected six years after the expiry of their third term.
After each partial renewal, the National Council appoints from among its members, for two years, the members of its disciplinary panel, who elect their chairman.
