Article R7413-4 of the French Labour Code

For the application of the provisions of articles L. 1234-1 to L. 1234-8 and L. 1237-1, relating to notice periods, to homeworkers with an open-ended employment contract, the compensation due in the event of failure to observe the notice period, except in the case of termination for serious misconduct, is calculated on the average salary for the six months preceding the termination of the contract.

Pour l’application aux travailleurs à domicile liés par un contrat de travail à durée indéterminée des dispositions des articles L. 1234-1 à L. 1234-8 et L. 1237-1, relatives au préavis, l’indemnité due, sauf rupture pour faute grave, en cas d’inobservation du préavis, est calculée sur la moyenne des salaires des six mois précédant la rupture du contrat.
