Article R743-147 of the French Commercial code

Before any payment is made, the court clerks are required to provide the parties, even if they do not request it, with the detailed account or accounts relating to the sums for which they are liable on any grounds whatsoever. The invoice shall distinguish between: remuneration exclusive of tax, diligence and fixed rates for transmission exclusive of tax, disbursements, value added tax and the total amount inclusive of tax.

In addition, when the registrar has carried out work, formalities, diligence or assignments mentioned in Article annexe 4-9, it shall indicate the amount of the corresponding fees on a special line, distinguishing between their amount excluding tax and value added tax.

This account must indicate for each fee-based transaction the reference to the number shown in the corresponding annexed table.

Avant tout règlement, les greffiers sont tenus de remettre aux parties, même si celles-ci ne le requièrent pas, le ou les comptes détaillés relatifs aux sommes dont elles sont redevables à quelque titre que ce soit. La facture distingue : les rémunérations hors taxes, les diligences et forfaits de transmission hors taxes, les déboursés, la taxe sur la valeur ajoutée et le montant total taxes incluses.

En outre, lorsque le greffier a effectué des travaux, formalités, diligences ou missions mentionnés à l’article annexe 4-9, il indique le montant des honoraires correspondants sur une ligne spéciale en distinguant leur montant hors taxes et la taxe sur la valeur ajoutée.

Ce compte doit mentionner pour chaque opération tarifée la référence au numéro figurant dans le tableau annexé correspondant.
