Article R744-40 of the French Code governing the entry and residence of foreign nationals and the right of asylum

The number of journalists accompanying a parliamentary visit may, on a permanent or occasional basis, be limited by the person in charge of the place of detention according to considerations drawn from the reasons mentioned in article R. 744-39 or the particularities of the place of detention.
Their entry is concomitant with that of the members of parliament whom they accompany on their journey. They may not leave after the members of parliament have left.

Le nombre de journalistes accompagnant une visite parlementaire peut, de manière permanente ou occasionnelle, être limité par le responsable du lieu de rétention en fonction de considérations tirées des motifs mentionnés à l’article R. 744-39 ou des particularités du lieu de rétention.
Leur entrée est concomitante à celle des parlementaires qu’ils accompagnent dans leur parcours. Leur sortie ne peut être postérieure à celle des parlementaires.
