Article R821-46 of the French Commercial code

The National Council is responsible for the administration of the Compagnie nationale and the management of its assets.

It gives its opinion, when invited to do so by the Keeper of the Seals, Minister of Justice, on draft laws and decrees submitted to it, as well as on matters falling within its remit.

It submits to the public authorities any useful proposals relating to the professional organisation and mission of statutory auditors.

It takes the decisions that fall within the remit of the Compagnie nationale by virtue of this title, and in particular its articles R. 821-25 and R. 821-26.

At the proposal of the Executive Committee, it adopts the budget of the Compagnie Nationale, distributes it among the regional companies and adopts its internal regulations.

Le Conseil national est chargé de l’administration de la Compagnie nationale et de la gestion de ses biens.

Il donne son avis, lorsqu’il y est invité par le garde des sceaux, ministre de la justice, sur les projets de loi et de décret qui lui sont soumis, ainsi que sur les questions entrant dans ses attributions.

Il soumet aux pouvoirs publics toutes propositions utiles relatives à l’organisation professionnelle et à la mission des commissaires aux comptes.

Il prend les décisions qui sont de la compétence de la Compagnie nationale en vertu du présent titre, et notamment de ses articles R. 821-25 et R. 821-26.

Sur proposition du bureau, il adopte le budget de la Compagnie nationale, en répartit la charge entre les compagnies régionales et adopte son règlement intérieur.
