Article R8253-3 of the French Labour Code

In the light of the reports sent to him in application of article L. 8271-17, the Director General of the French Office for Immigration and Integration shall inform the employer, by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt or by any other means enabling the date of receipt by the addressee to be proven, that the provisions of article L. 8253-1 are likely to be applied to him and that he may submit his observations within a period of fifteen days.

Au vu des procès-verbaux qui lui sont transmis en application de l’article L. 8271-17, le directeur général de l’Office français de l’immigration et de l’intégration indique à l’employeur, par lettre recommandée avec avis de réception ou par tout autre moyen permettant de faire la preuve de sa date de réception par le destinataire, que les dispositions de l’article L. 8253-1 sont susceptibles de lui être appliquées et qu’il peut présenter ses observations dans un délai de quinze jours.
