Title I: Provisions relating to Book I

Book I is applicable to Mayotte subject to the following provisions.

For a child born in Mayotte, the first paragraph of article 21-7 and article 21-11 are applicable only if, at the date of birth, at least one of the child’s parents was residing in France legally, under cover of a residence permit, and uninterruptedly for more than three months.

Article 2493 is applicable under the conditions set out in Article 17-2.
