TITLE V: Provisions applicable in the Wallis and Futuna Islands.

I.-Articles L. 141-13 to L. 141-17, L. 141-19, L. 141-20, L. 143-7 and L. 143-11 are applicable in their wording resulting from Law no. 2015-990 of 6 August 2015 for growth, activity and equal economic opportunities. For the application of this code in the Wallis and Futuna Islands, the terms listed below are replaced as follows: 1° “Tribunal judiciaire” by “tribunal de première instance”; 2° “Tribunal de commerce” or “justice consulaire” by “tribunal de première instance statuant en matière commerciale”; 3° “Conseil de prud’hommes” by “tribunal du travail”; 4° “Bulletin officiel des annonces civiles et commerciales” by “Journal officiel du territoire” ; 5° “Département” or “arrondissement”…

References made, by provisions of this code applicable in the Wallis and Futuna Islands, to other articles of this code, concern only those articles made applicable in the Wallis and Futuna Islands with the adaptations provided for in the chapters below.

In the absence of adaptation, references made by provisions of this code applicable in the Wallis and Futuna Islands, to provisions which are not applicable there, are replaced by references to provisions with the same purpose applicable locally.

References made by provisions of this code applicable in the Wallis and Futuna Islands, to provisions of the Labour Code are only applicable there if there is a locally applicable provision with the same purpose.

References to registration in the national register of companies as a company in the trades and crafts sector are replaced by references to registration made in accordance with the regulations applicable in the Wallis and Futuna Islands.

Articles referring to the European Union shall apply in compliance with the association decision provided for in Article 203 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union. References to the Agreement on the European Economic Area shall not apply. .
