Title XVIII: Prosecution, investigation and trial of offences committed by legal persons

The provisions of this Code shall apply to the prosecution, investigation and trial of offences committed by legal persons, subject to the provisions of this Title.

Without prejudice to the rules of jurisdiction applicable when a natural person is also suspected or prosecuted, the following shall have jurisdiction: 1° The public prosecutor and the courts of the place where the offence was committed; 2° The public prosecutor and the courts of the place where the legal person has its registered office. The public prosecution is brought against the legal entity in the person of its legal representative at the time of the prosecution. The representative of the legal entity being prosecuted may not, in that capacity, be subject to any measure of constraint other than that applicable to the witness.

The investigating judge may place the legal entity under judicial supervision under the conditions set out in articles 139 and 140 by subjecting it to one or more of the following obligations:
