TITLE IV: LOCAL PUBLIC ESTABLISHMENTS FOR EDUCATIONAL COOPERATION

A municipality or a public establishment for inter-municipal cooperation may set up, with the State, a local public establishment for educational cooperation responsible for mobilising and coordinating all players in order to contribute, in particular through the creation of educational success schemes, to the educational, cultural, social and health development and support of children.

Local public establishments for educational cooperation are public establishments of an administrative nature created by order of the State representative, on the proposal of the commune or public establishment for inter-communal cooperation concerned. A decree in the Council of State determines the rules for the organisation and operation of these establishments.
