The acknowledgement deed shall state the forenames, surname, date of birth or, failing that, age, place of birth and domicile of the person making the acknowledgement. If the transcription of the paternal acknowledgement proves impossible, due to the secrecy of his identity opposed by the mother, the father may inform the public prosecutor. The latter will search for the date and place of establishment of the child’s birth certificate.
