An occupational social service is set up in all establishments usually employing at least two hundred and fifty employees.
The occupational social services department works in the workplace to monitor and facilitate employees’ personal lives. It works closely with the occupational health and safety department. It maintains constant contact with welfare, assistance and placement organisations in order to make it easier for employees to exercise their rights under social legislation.
