Section 6: Local chambers of commerce and industry of regional chambers of commerce and industry

The members of the regional chamber of commerce and industry and the members of the local chambers of commerce and industry are elected under the same conditions as, respectively, the members of the regional chambers of commerce and industry and the members of the territorial chambers of commerce and industry.

The chairmen of local chambers of commerce and industry are members of the Assembly of French Chambers of Commerce and Industry. They are ex officio members of the bureau of the regional chamber of commerce and industry to which they are attached.

Local chambers of commerce and industry carry out the local missions devolved to any territorial chamber of commerce and industry, in accordance with articles L. 711-1 to L. 711-4, in accordance with the guidelines defined by the general meeting of the regional chamber of commerce and industry and in compliance with the sectoral plans mentioned in article L. 711-8.
