Commercial courts apply the guiding principles of civil litigation.
The seat and jurisdiction of the commercial courts are determined in accordance with the table in the Annex 7-1 of this book.
The number of judges and the number of chambers in each commercial court are set in accordance with the tables in Annex 7-2 to this book.
The costumes of the members of the commercial court are defined as follows: a) Dress: black with large sleeves and velvet lapels (for the president of the Paris commercial court, during formal hearings and public ceremonies: red dress with black velvet facings); b) Simarre: black silk; c) Toque: black with a silver braid (two braids for the president); d) Tie: white pleated.
