Article R742-33 of the French Commercial code

The clerk of a commercial court at least one of whose offices is abolished as a result of a new delimitation of judicial districts and who has performed his duties for at least three years may, on application made within two years of the abolition of his office, take up the professions of court-appointed administrator, lawyer, auctioneer, bailiff, court-appointed agent and notary, under the conditions laid down in this section.
