In accordance with II of Article 43 of Organic Law no. 2004-192 of 27 February 2004 on the autonomous status of French Polynesia, communes and their groupings may grant aid to companies, under the conditions defined by the acts provided for in article 140 of the organic law referred to as “lois du pays” and the regulations enacted by French Polynesia.
An agreement may be concluded between the State and a municipality or grouping to supplement the aid or aid schemes mentioned in article L. 1861-1.
