CHAPTER IV : Local services

Certain municipal services may be made available to the public in mobile annexes to the town hall. However, no civil status operations involving the movement of civil status registers may be carried out in these mobile annexes.

The town hall annexes set up by local authorities may be shared by several neighbourhoods. In these annexes, local municipal services are made available to residents. The provisions of article L. 2144-1 are applicable to these annexes.

Communal premises may be used by associations or political parties that so request. The mayor determines the conditions under which these premises may be used, taking into account the requirements of the administration of communal property, the operation of services and the maintenance of public order.
