SINGLE CHAPTER

Two or more departmental councils may initiate between themselves, through their presidents, an agreement on objects of departmental utility included in their attributions and which interest both their respective departments. They may enter into agreements with each other, for the purpose of undertaking or maintaining at common expense works or institutions of common utility.

Matters of common interest are discussed at conferences at which each departmental council is represented. Decisions taken there are not binding until they have been ratified by all the departmental councils concerned.
