CHAPTER IV: Provisions applicable during periods of general mobilisation and wartime.

The transmission of the deliberations mentioned in the second paragraph of article L. 2124-1 is sent to the prefecture.

In the cases provided for in article L. 2124-3, the prefect must immediately report the measures taken to the Minister of the Interior.

The formal notice sent by the prefect to the mayor or president of the public establishment for inter-municipal cooperation, in the cases provided for in article L. 2124-3, may be made either by letter, telegram or telephone message. The reply sent to the prefect by the mayor or president of the public establishment for inter-municipal cooperation must be made in one of the forms indicated in the previous paragraph.

In the cases provided for in article L. 2124-5, the decree ordering the provisional suspension of a mayor or councillor is issued on the report of the Minister of the Interior.

In the cases provided for in l’article L. 2124-7, the decree suspending the municipal council or the deliberative body of a public establishment for inter-communal cooperation is issued on the proposal of the Minister of the Interior.
