The following are punishable by the penalties laid down in Article L. 1543-3: 1° Falsifying medicinal substances intended for sale ; 2° Exhibiting, offering for sale or selling falsified medicinal substances; If the falsified medicinal substance is harmful to human health, the penalties are doubled. These penalties apply even if the harmful falsification is known to the buyer or consumer.
