The doctor in charge of the departmental maternal and child protection service checks that the conditions mentioned in the fourth paragraph of article L. 2324-1 are met by the establishments and services mentioned in the same article.

The authorisation referred to in the first paragraph of Article L. 2324-1 provides, at the request of the head of the establishment or service, for different reception capacities for different periods of the year, week or day, taking into account foreseeable variations in reception needs.
