Chapter V: Combating the international spread of disease.

The following are determined by decree in the Conseil d’Etat: 1° Pursuant to the 2005 International Health Regulations: a) The criteria for designating points of entry to the territory, particularly with regard to the scale of their international traffic and their even distribution across the territory ; b) The criteria for defining serious or unusual health events that must be reported to the health authorities and the procedures for reporting…

A decree will determine the technical capabilities that points of entry to the territory must acquire, in particular with regard to the provision of appropriate facilities, equipment and personnel, as well as the list of designated points of entry.

An order by the Minister for Health determines the procedures for rapid access to biological resources useful in combating the international spread of diseases, in order to transmit these resources to reference laboratories in third countries or designated by the World Health Organisation.
