Chapter Ia: Harm reduction

The State is responsible for defining harm reduction policy for drug users.

Harm reduction support centres for drug users are covered by article L. 312-1, paragraph 9 of the French Code de l’action sociale et des familles (Social Action and Family Code) and, along with other facilities, contribute to the policy of harm reduction.
