Chapter III: Therapeutic injunction by the public prosecutor

The public prosecutor may order a person who has used drugs illegally or habitually and excessively consumed alcohol to submit to a therapeutic injunction in the form of treatment or medical supervision under the conditions set out in articles L. 3413-1 to L. 3413-4. In all the cases provided for in article L. 3423-1, where it does not appear necessary to preserve the plants and substances seized, they shall be destroyed by a criminal investigation officer at the request of the public prosecutor.
