Chapter I: Physiotherapists.

I.-A territorial council of the order of masseur-physiotherapists is constituted in Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon when the number of masseur-physiotherapists practising there is at least equal to twice the minimum number provided for the departmental councils of the order of masseur-physiotherapists. Until such time, registration is decided by the representative of the State in the local authority. The masseur-physiotherapists of Saint-Martin and Saint-Barthélemy are subject to the jurisdiction of the departmental council of the order of masseur-physiotherapists of Guadeloupe.

An inter-regional council and a disciplinary chamber of first instance of the Antilles-Guyane order of masseur-physiotherapists are responsible for masseur-physiotherapists practising in French Guyana, Martinique, Guadeloupe, Saint-Martin and Saint-Barthélemy.

An inter-regional council and a disciplinary chamber of first instance of the association of masseur-physiotherapists of Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur and Corsica are responsible for masseur-physiotherapists of Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur and masseur-physiotherapists of Corsica.

A decree in the Conseil d’Etat shall determine, as far as is necessary, the procedures for applying the provisions of articles L. 4321-15 to L. 4321-19-7, in particular the representation of professionals in the professional bodies according to the type of practice and of users in the disciplinary chambers, as well as the organisation of the disciplinary procedure prior to referral to the disciplinary chambers.

A Conseil d’Etat decree, issued after consultation with the Conseil national de l’ordre des masseurs-kinésithérapeutes, lays down the rules of the code of ethics for masseurs-kinésithérapeutes. These provisions are limited to the deontological and ethical rights and duties of the profession with regard to its members, other healthcare professionals and patients. The provisions of article L. 4398-1 do not apply to masseur-physiotherapists.

The following shall be determined by decree of the Conseil d’Etat: 1° Where necessary, the professional rules ; 2° The composition and operation of the commission referred to in article L. 4321-4 and the conditions under which the person concerned is subject to a compensation measure; 3° The procedures for verifying the professional qualifications referred to in article L. 4321-11 ; 4° The procedures for applying the obligation to transmit…
