Chapter V: Continuing professional development

Doctors, odontologists and pharmacists working in public health establishments and army hospitals, as well as those working in private health establishments of collective interest, are subject to a continuing professional development obligation as part of the continuing professional development defined in articles L. 4021-1 to L. 4021-8.

Public health establishments devote funds to the continuing professional development of their doctors, pharmacists and odontologists, as organised by the statutes of these personnel, the amount of which may not be less than a percentage, set by decree, of the gross payroll excluding charges of these personnel. Public health establishments may join forces to finance joint training initiatives for their doctors, biologists, pharmacists and odontologists.
