Chapter I: Prohibitions.

It is forbidden to sell job offers or job applications, regardless of the medium used. However, this prohibition does not prevent the insertion, for a consideration, of job offers or applications in a publication or other paid communication medium.

It is forbidden to publish in a newspaper, magazine or periodical or to disseminate by any other means of communication accessible to the public an insertion of job offers or offers of home-based work containing the mention of an upper age limit required of a job applicant. This prohibition does not apply to offers that set age conditions imposed by legal provisions.

It is forbidden to publish in a newspaper, magazine or periodical, or to disseminate by any other means of communication accessible to the public, an advertisement for the provision of services relating to job offers or careers and containing false allegations or allegations likely to mislead, in particular as to the free nature of this service.

Decrees in the Conseil d’Etat shall determine the conditions of application of this chapter.
